Homemade Banana Bread

This was one of my favorite creations. During the fall I always start to crave warm meals and of course pumpkin everything. The pumpkin puree and mashed banana in this recipe add incredible moisture and density. You could also substitute the egg for the flax seed alternative, which is 1 tablespoon of flax seed meal and three tablespoons of water (let sit for about 3-5 mins before adding to the recipe. The pumpkin flavored cheerios are most definitely optional however they added a nice texture and a fun semi guilt free twist to a classic treat!
 


Homemade Banana Pumpkin Bread
Vegetarian & Gluten Free & Dairy Free 

-1 mashed banana
 - 1/2 a can of pure pumpkin purée
- 4 pitted medjool dates
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
-1 egg
1 cup of ground Cheerios (Pumpkin Flavor) 😍
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
 -pink himalayan sea salt
 -cinnamon

Blend all together, add sliced banana on top of batter (optional),
and bake @ 350 degrees for 45 mins.

- Top with more almond butter!
